Welcome to this week's dA Related update! This article will keep you up-to-date with the latest happenings in the deviantART Related community as well as deviantART.

Critmas: results!Critique is something we all desire- its why most people are on dA. We want feedback on our work- some of us just to validate ourselves, others for improvement tips and others who are aiming for move their work on and want genuine suggestions to assist with that.
That is quite a demanding request.
Fortunately, there are people out there who do take their time to look at work, take the time to review, respond and offer this critique. And writing a critique is time consuming, even more so when you’re writing several. Sometimes I think that people forget that, which is why Critmas has a message not just about giving critique out for prizes, but to thank those who do offer that free time to help others with their work. 
We can often be quite selfish, expecting critique from others but aren’t willing to give back. Even if you took the time to challenge yourself and write one a week, you will reap the benefits.
Anyhow enough of the lecture; let’s see the results!

Original Characters
The concept of "original characters" may be a bit foreign to writers, as when you create a piece of literature, in most cases, everyone in the story is an original character. However, with advent of role-playing (in its many various forms), non-writers and writers alike found themselves created characters to use in games and otherwise. Sometimes the characters represent themselves, other times not. The main thing that remains the same is that they are loved and cherished by their creator. I have a small sad-rant ahead, please feel free to leave if you don't feel like listening to me. It's ok. But allow me to put it here, I don't want to hide it. I promised to myself to be more open this year, alright?

Do you know what I feel the best at? Or, actually not "the best" but simply, what I think I'm pretty good at and I am very proud of it.
It's my imagination and my drawing skills. I am happy to have a skill in drawing. I am happy I can create beauiful worlds and characters.
And do you know at what other things I feel good and proud of?
None...
So I envy some people...
I envy the fact some can roleplay like pro's, that they not only have time to get things done, but also meet with friends on net and create wonderful stories together bit by bit...
I envy people who have consoles or cool comps and can play awesome games or possess great knowledge about them... That they know all the fine details and whatnot...
I envy people who don't give up and have
Watcher Awards - [Closed]Greetings! I just got back from the doctors last night. Turns out I have Lumbosacral Radiculopathy at L5. In short, horrible back pain and shin pain from the sciatic nerve. No pain meds - just chugging along like a champ. I can't walk more than 4 blocks without intense leg pain. It kinda sucks.
